Education Program Production Assistant

The production assistant will work in the Continuing Education department to aid in the production of high-quality architectural education programs and perform assigned tasks

Responsibilities include:

• Provide customer service to clients to help resolve issues with enrollment into courses, recording attendance in courses, and general website inquiries
• Communicating with clients as needed to assist with sending and receiving data files
• Researching data banks to find useful information, images and/or graphics to be integrated into education courses
• Animating power point slides
• Audio review and editing
• Video review and editing
• Proofreading written materials and applying edits
• Researching assigned topics to draft an outline or to provide technical information on projects
• Assisting with the written development of technical courses
• Performing general clerical tasks

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in an office environment as an assistant or in a technical role
Bachelor’s degree or some post-secondary training preferred
Experience using MS Office Software Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and the Adobe Suite
Ability to quickly learn other internal software applications
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and customers
Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet project deadlines
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Ability to accept direction on a project as well as receive constructive feedback in order to meet client needs
Experience proofreading materials and making edits to both written text, images and graphics

Work Schedule:

This position will start as a part-time on-site contract position with approximately 20 hours a week. There is some flexibility in the scheduling of hours with the approval of supervisor.

Pay Range: 
$11-$14 per hour
